Kayak & Birdwatching at minor Prespa

Minor Prespa is the core of the Prespa National Park, perhaps, the most beautiful corner of the area.

We start from the picturesque fishing village of Mikrolimni, heading to Vidronisi, a small rocky island at the centre of the lake, where it is full of nests of various birds. This islands’ importance, in this sensitive ecosystem, is very great, therefore human presence on the island is strictly prohibited.

The circumnavigation of the island takes place at a distance of at least 100 meters from its coast. During this excursion, you will have the opportunity to see and take photos of many bird species that find refuge there.
