Hiking at Mt. Varnountas slopes

We start to climb at the slopes of Mount Varnoyntas towards a small church, a spot with an amazing view to the lakes.
We will arrive here in about 1.5 hours and take a short break.

We continue, now going downhill and following the international path E6 which will lead us in about 45′ to the traditional stone-built settlement of Agios Germanos.

Following the path that moves along the banks of the small river that descends from the mountain, we will visit the traditional restored water mill of the village and then, in about 1 hour (5 km) we will reach Laimos, the administrative center of the Municipality of Prespa.

A rural road for the next 500m will lead us back to the point where we started our hike.

The route is pleasant and requires some elementary physical condition.
