Birdwatching by kayak at Agios Achillios

Minor Prespa lake is at the core of the Prespa National Park. There is the picturesque island of Agios Achilleios, where it is connected to the mainland by a floating footbridge. All around the area there are stands of reeds, where many species of wetland birds make their nests, giving a unique opportunity for birdwatching from a safe distance.

We start from the beginning of the footbridge and with the kayaks we will tour the surrounding area.

The most suitable period is towards the end of Spring and throughout the summer.
