A very nice and easy hiking route of 10 Km, total duration of about 4 hours in Minor Prespa lake shores, starting from the beautiful fishing village Mikrolimni. We follow a lakeside path, where in 2 Km we meet the meadows of Lachista, and then, in 2.5 Km we end up in the abandoned, since 1949, village of Kranies. Returning from the same path backwards and reaching Lachista, we follow another path, approximately 3 Km long, which ends at the church of Agia Paraskevi between the villages of Oxya and Mikrolimni.
The route, beyond the natural beauty, has a culture interest of how the inhabitants lived before and after the civil war. |
