Hiking, mountain bike & kayak from Agios Germanos to great Prespa

From the traditional settlement of Agios Germanos, we take the path at the foot of Mt. Varnountas, where in about 1 hour it will lead us to the brick-built, almost abandoned, village of Milionas. This is also where Eco Tourismo’s outdoor activities base is located.
For the next 7 km or so we continue by bike through rural roads, among the famous bean fields of Prespa. Our destination is the banks of the great Prespa, very close to the border with North Macedonia. We will get there in about 1 hour. Next is the kayak, to paddle along the shore and observe the numerous birds of the Prespes National Park. Weather permitting, you can take a dip in the crystal clear waters of the lake. Finally, we will take you back to Agios Germanos by car. |
